WildTrax 2026.6.0 (macOS) and WildTrax A2 1.1 (iOS/iPadOS) are now LIVE

This is a meaningful update that continues to push WildTrax deeper into real production workflows, especially when it comes to timecode, reliability, and ecosystem integration.

New features

False Start folder and suffix settings
You can now automatically route false starts to their own subfolder and apply a custom filename suffix. This keeps your main recordings clean without losing anything important.

Timecode upgrades across the board
Expanded timecode functionality, including full support for drop frame aware separators throughout the app. What you see now reflects what is actually happening in the file.

Ambient LockitBT support
This is a big one. WildTrax now integrates directly with Ambient LockitBT devices over Bluetooth. That means fast, reliable timecode sync without extra cabling. Ambient has built an incredibly solid ecosystem with ACN, and their LockitBT boxes are a perfect match for what WildTrax is doing. This collaboration allows you to move quickly on set while maintaining rock solid sync. We are proud to be working alongside a company that has set the bar for timecode reliability for years.

Free Run on Disconnect
If you lose connection to Ambient, Tentacle, external LTC, or MIDI timecode, WildTrax will continue running seamlessly. No interruptions, no surprises.

Auto sync FPS
WildTrax now reads and matches FPS directly from Ambient and Tentacle devices when available. One less thing to think about on set.

WildTrax A2 Spectrum Analyzer support
You can now view the Spectrum Analyzer directly in A2, giving your remote operator deeper insight into the signal in real time.
